Manager of Marketing and Communication

Kenilworth Media is looking for a Manager of Marketing and Communication to oversee the newly created Marketing and Communications Department, which will operate as an ‘internal ad agency’ within the central operational services of the company. You will help develop and execute the activities of the department and will help in the development of goals and implementation plans to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities for this position include:

      • Developing and/or overseeing the development of marketing collateral/campaigns for a variety of initiatives, including but not limited to, events (both in-person and virtual), awards programs, sales programs (including annual media kits), contests, education/training programs and membership/subscription programs, audience development programs for a variety of platforms/mediums (e.g. print, website, e-mail, social, signage, video, audio, etc.)
      • Deploying, or coordinating the deployment of, marketing material across various platforms/mediums (e.g. print, website, e-mail, social, signage, video, audio, etc.). This may include being onsite at in-person or virtual events to ensure marketing elements are executed correctly. It may also include the development and execution of marketing automation workflows.
      • Working with sales and/or audience-related teams to help develop paid opportunities in the form of advertising/sponsorship and/or audience-related initiatives (e.g. event registration, education, membership, etc.) from a communication/marketing standpoint, as well as helping in the fulfillment of such.
      • Additional marketing and communications tasks as they arise/develop over time.


      • Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing, communications, public relations or other related field.
      • Three to five years of experience in a marketing role, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory or management capacity (overseeing others).
      • Experience implementing marketing automation software/campaigns.
      • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Creative and innovative thinking.
      • Good research and problem-solving skills.
      • Adaptable and able to work well under pressure.
